Twilight and Toby Keith

Zac and I are on a tight budget....after all, I didn't get a pay raise for my hard earned master's degree (and my student loan didn't get any kind of freeze) and Zac is planning on going back to school. So come August 20th we'll be living off of my teacher salary.....and we all know it's next to nothing! Our entertainment budget is very little. However, we always manage to find something to do!

We made plans to go see the new Twilight movie with Jonathan and Anna. Lucky for us my principal gave me a very thoughtful graduation gift certificate to Edwards Cinemas, so we were good to go! The movie was good, but now I definitely want to read the fourth book to find out what happens instead of waiting another year or so until the last movie comes out. I'm definitely rooting for Team Jacob! Bella has Edward in real life so why not make the movie a little different! Anyway, the movie was good, the popcorn was delicious and the Sprite was refreshing. It was a fun date!

After the movie got out, Jonathan and I both had text messages and missed calls from Monica. She had extra tickets to Toby Keith! Lucky for us we had gone to the matinee, so the timing was perfect! We headed from the downtown theater straight over to BSU (Taco Bell Arena) for a little TK entertaining. Not to mention, Trace Adkins opened for him.....despite it being very loud....it was fun seeing both entertainers. The show was great!
Toby at the end of the night sang American Soldier...fireworks went off and red, white and blue confetti blew up in the arena. It definitely made for a moment of pride and a proud feeling to be an American!

TK's encore show included this special American flag guitar....fireworks and confetti. It was amazing! To end the show, Trace came back on stage and joined Toby for the last and best song....Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue!

We couldn't have asked for more fun....better entertaining....a great movie......and some good old country music!

Thanks Mr. Forrey for the graduation gift and thanks Monica and Rob for the Toby Keith tickets. We had a great night!
