Mother's Day

After an exhausting master's weekend, (only 1 more weekend to go!!) Zac and I headed over to Jonathan and Anna's 3rd Annual Mother's Day BBQ in honor of all of the moms. We enjoyed elk burgers, Anna's baked beans and some delicious lemon cake. It was quality time well spent.

Happy Mother's Day to Mom and Sherry....thanks for everything! And happy Mother's Day, Sister!

Mom with her 3 grown chillins...Jonathan, Monica and Emily (Where has the time gone?)

Craziness

Just a quick update...life has been crazy busy...who knows when it will ever slow down...maybe never (according to Cam). If it's not one thing, it's another. Anyway, I went to the first weekend of my last graduate class....I am bursting with joy...but the name of the class does enough explaining on its own--Thesis Seminar! AHHHHH. I knew it would be a lot of work, I just didn't realize how much a lot of work actually is. Let's just say my life is being consumed with lesson plans, rationales (with an e), national standards, curriculums, mathematics, arts, creativity, presentations and weekly group meetings. This all on top of end of the year festivities...like the school carnival, field day, field trips, grade level picnics, end of the year projects, auctions, open house....and report cards. I know...I know...poor me...I'm just having a pitty party for myself. However, with all of this said, come June 4 a load comes off (the last day of school), come June 6 another load comes off (last day of grad school) and come June 28....I'm a whole new woman! Afterall I'll be able to sign my name Emily Broadie, M.Ed. Doesn't that look so professional!

For the record, I must admit I have the best husband ever! Zac has been cooking every single night, doing lots of laundry and reminding me that I can do this...I will survive! He's the best!
